Addressing selected senior executive managers from The life science’s industry and/or from Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, to prepare and provide them with tools and hands-on training to be leaders in tomorrow’s biomedical and medical-device startups. Volvox Venture, a Special Project Accelerator, supported by GCA consultancy group via its experience and worldwide connections with TTOs and investors will assist and support the graduates to fulfill and achieve this vision.
SUCCESSFUL GRADUATES MAY ESTABLISH THEIR OWN COMPANY DURING THE COURSE BASED ON CAREFULLY SELECTED INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY SUPPORTED BY INVESTORS AND GUIDED BY GCA’S GLOBAL
LIFE SCIENCE INDUSTRY KOLS.
THE PROGRAM
An 8-months program hosted and supported by the Hebrew University of
Jerusalem, School of Business Administration in conjunction with the
Ministry of Economy, under the guides of GCA consultancy group and its
global life science industry executive veterans, mainly to support TEVA
former employees, life science’s industry former executives and assist them
to become stakeholders and executives within a startup life science
companies. The program offers a unique integration of theoretical and
practical aspects of the biomedical innovation and entrepreneurship
process augmented with business and managerial skills. The program
provides its selected candidates with an optimal eco-system to start-up
their own company in the biomedical and medical device industry.

Prof. Barenholz – Academic Director. a renowned Biochemistry professor and at the Hebrew University–Hadassah Medical School, Jerusalem, Israel. Head of the Laboratory of Membrane and Liposome Research at the Department of Biochemistry, Founder of several prominent startup companies, including Moebius Medical, cofounded Therapix Biosciences Ltd. (formerly, NasVax Ltd.). Co-Inventor of over 30 patent families, Posses 46 years of experience in research and development. Involved with variety of Scientific Advisory Board positions within the global pharma Industry, author of over 350 publications, Editor of academic journals and books. the TEVA Founder Prize for major contributions to Medical Biotechnology and a renowned Specialist in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Nanotechnology and Cancer.
Dr. Kobi Inbar – Academic Manager. Over 20 years of extensive entrepreneurial, managerial, R&D and business experience previously Academic Director of the Bio-Medical MBA Program at the Business School, The College of Management Academic Studies a Lecturer at the MBA program, Ariel University as well at the Biomed MBA program at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Haifa University.
